Hemroids Are Can Be Scare

by Jack Bennington

A lot of the people out there have never heard of what a hemroid complication is all about but insist on the fact that they have an impeccable health record. But the thing with hemroids is that you don't actually see or feel them coming. You just wake up one morning and there they are. But there is no need to worry as these can be treated or prevented.

The basic thing about hemroids is that you will actually be experiencing the effects of an inflammation in the rectum. This inflammation is induced by a variety of things but generally the swelling of veins in the rectum is not the only indication, there are other sources of initial discomfort you must know.

When pressure starts to build up in the rectum the obvious consequence is a burning sensation in the rectum. This burning sensation can be very intense or mild. Whichever the case may be this burning sensation will be so uncomfortable that you might actually try sitting in cold water just to ease it away.

Sometimes the illness swellings are preceded by a terrible itch. This itch will be a great source of irritation and you will feel like barraging your anus with a scratch or two. Nevertheless if you scratch after feeling irritated your hemroids can be marked by bloody stools. Bloody stools come when you pop open the swellings in the rectum.

There aren't that many causes of hemroids but constipation has been mentioned more than a couple of times. Being constipated is all about feces being trapped in the rectum because there is not enough moisture in the rectum to pass them out. So that is why you will feel the burning sensation, the pressure leads to the build up of heat and the resulting discomfort. But there have been the rare cases where pregnant women have fallen victim to hemroids. In such instances it will be the baby's weight being forced against weak rectal muscle.

Pressure build up is what basically causes hemroids. When pressure builds up it is only normal for you to experience the burning sensation in the rectum. Veins in the rectum eventually get inflamed because of the constant pressure being applied against them.

To prevent these swellings the best way is to eat foods that have a lot of fibre. Fibre in foods like lettuce; cabbage and spinach ensures that your stools are wet enough to slip through the anus without them building up because they're too dry. So when you do release stools more often you can't be scared of pressure building up in the rectum.

But when you already have them the key is to release the rectal pressure. This can be achieved by drinking a lot of water to moisten stools. Laxatives can also be taken as a way of passing out stools. These laxative pills will induce a mild form of diarrhoea and you will pass out stools almost immediately. But if that is too much for you i recommend bathing with Epsom salts. Fill a bathtub with a small amount of water and sit in it for 5 minutes. This will get rid of any irritations and can also reduce the extent of swellings. But generally you must not scratch when you have an itch.
