Cat is foaming from the mouth, but otherwise ok, what should I do?
My cat is an indoor / outdoor cat who sneaks in every chance he gets. Last night he foaming at the mouth for no apparent reason, so I freaked and took him ti the vet there. They checked him out and said he seemed fine because he was not more foaming was eating everything they gave him, and he acted very affectionate to me. they said that maybe he ate something. Today he just started foaming again, so I made an appointment with the vet. the foaming begins as a bunch of bubbles, then compes together in a very long (6 inches or so) string of spit. Has anyone any idea what this could be?
This really does not sound good, so until you figure out what the real problem may be your cat around other family members, especially small children
